SCHOLARSHIPS
The RLMF will help the next Einstein shine by distributing annual donated funds to Silsbee Independent School District andUSA-accredited colleges and universities so they can choose a qualifying individual to help them continue their education. Three scholarships were awarded this year to Silsbee High School students, in the amount of $5000.

AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
The RLMF will send ambassadors to perform community outreach and raise awareness for social causes through charity golf events, sponsoring cookouts, and social events. The RLMF will sponsor its own events and assist other nonprofits in fund raising.

DISASTER RELIEF
The RLMF will provide disaster relief aid in the form of food and water to the severely disadvantaged with a lack of existing community resources, funding, and existing local infrastructures — such as Hurricane Harvey survivors or international refugees in crisis. The foundation will operate and focus its resources both locally and globally regardless of geographical location. Provisions will be derived from our general fund and through public support.

ENDOWMENT
The RLMF will create an endowment at Texas A&M University, where the foundation’s namesake Ross would have earned his degree in computer engineering in May. The foundation will closely engage through specific instructions on how to distribute funds. This could include supporting foundation excellence award scholarships to help recruit and retain outstanding undergraduates from historically disadvantaged groups often underrepresented in the university’s student body, including minorities and those who face significant economic and educational hurdles. The goal is $10 million made in 50 gala events each at $200,000.

PROGRAM DISTRIBUTION
The RLMF does not fundraise for or contribute to any specific organization or entity. At the board’s discretion, the foundation may at times choose to contribute to other organizations that share a common mission, only if the contributions further the foundation’s exempt status.
For example, the RLMF and another nonprofit will join efforts to build an orphanage in Kakamega County in the Western Province of Kenya to provide quality housing and education to orphans and vulnerable children and oversee the welfare and health of children in general.

MULTIMEDIA
The RLMF’s goal is to raise awareness of community social issues such as homelessness, poverty, and hunger through every medium possible and intends to broaden its outreach through documentaries and photos of its activities, projects, programs, and expeditions. The foundation’s volunteers will record multimedia features that will be made available to the public.
