Ross Lightfoot Memorial Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit established on March 25th 2020 in Southeast Texas.

The founder has pledged 100% of his time to supporting this foundation, which will be funded by its donor(s) and allocate 100% of overall expenses to the foundation’s activities.
All fundraising and donations will be used exclusively for the charitable purposes within the 501(c)(3) internal revenue code and will not be used for personal gains of any sort.

Lightfoot has spent most of his life building homes in the Golden Triangle of southeast Texas. His son Ross was a giver, and he would like to carry on his son’s legacy and give back through the foundation to which he will now devote his time.
Vice President, Trustee
With over 20 years of nonprofit experience, Thompson will head up community outreach and education, fundraising, corporate governance, and gift issuance. Thompson also sits on the Hardin County Go Texas committee, which raises over $50,000 a year for student scholarships.
Treasurer & Secretary
Donalson audits for-profit and nonprofit firms for public accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a Texas A&M graduate with a bachelor’s in accounting and a master’s in business management.
Diaz spent over 24 years in the Coast Guard and serves as a senior chief in the Coast Guard reserve at Houston-Galveston. He retired as a civil servant in 2019 and began a career with Cheniere Energy as a marine coordinator at Sabine Pass Terminal. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the National Graduate School specializing in quality systems management and process improvement.
Brooks owns Zydeco Technologies and has experience in small business, IT systems, industrial automation, employee-customer relations, marketing, and inside/outside sales. His skills include web design, network design, maintenance and security, data backup, and recovery, to mention a few. He is a graduate of the University of Texas and an accredited member of the Southeast Texas Better Business Bureau and the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce.
Morris is a retired telecommunications engineer and surveyor. He served as a medic with the 32nd medical evacuation squadron USAFR and received an honorable discharge in 1976. He is also a cabinet maker and a professional musician. He cofounded Port Aransas’ SandFest, a nonprofit three-day festival that attracts sandcastle builders from all over North America and directed the event’s preparation for 11 years, leading up to 100 volunteers. He currently serves as ministry leader with Westgate Church of Christ in Beaumont.
Drake is a longtime friend of Ross and is excited and honored to be a part of RLMF and creating a legacy for Ross. He holds a bachelor’s degree
in kinesiology from Lamar University, where he played football.
Adams is a longtime friend of Ross and is excited and honored to be a part of RLMF and creating a legacy for Ross. He received his associate degree in nursing from Lamar State College Orange.
Rachal is a longtime friend of Ross and is excited and honored to be a part of RLMF and creating a legacy for Ross. He received his BS in kinesiology from Texas A&M University and is the student body president at Texas Chiropractic College.
